Our transformation Tuesday Athlete this week is Jay Fourie.
Jay has been a member of Crossfit North Okanagan Since November of 2014. You may recognize him by his flashy sock apparel.
He’s a husband and father with a very demanding career as an ER doctor at VJH. For such a busy guy with family and work Jay leads a very active lifestyle outside the gym. Skiing in the winter, and in the summer his passions are biking and running. Applying Functional Movement at CFNO has provided him with the environment where he is continually improving his body movement and building strength with a variety of challenging and exciting workout programs.
The skills Jay has gained have translated well into the activities he loves most. Jay has mentioned he has benefited from such an open and encouraging atmosphere. Applying strength and weight training with functional movement patterns has made the sports he loves better and would recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their sport.
