TEENS [EAGLES] (12-17 YRS)

The Forge Valley Eagles Program is a group training class where teenagers learn proper technique, build strength and improve their fitness while socializing with likeminded individuals.

Within this program; we focus on teaching proper body mechanics to move safely and efficiently in any physical activity or sport of choice.  Developing the skills and foundations to feel confident and strong in their movement and coordination allowing them to excel in their respective activities and sports.

Our program is designed for both athletes and non-athletes alike to learn proper physical and athletic development utilizing a broad range of skills and movements including weight lifting, jumping, running, and bodyweight exercises.  We combine it all in a way to keep our students engaged and entertained while teaching proper movement mechanics and creating a broad fitness foundation. It’s important for us to pair fitness and fun to develop a lifelong love for health and fitness for the child.

Intake to the program starts with a phone call to ensure the program is a proper fit for your teenager.  

 

The next step is a series of private or semi-private coaching sessions to teach the fundamental exercises and ensure correct, safe and consistent movement patterns before joining the group environment.  The number of sessions will range based on experience, learning ability and competency of movement.

Intake to the program is ongoing and does not have to align with the start of the term.

2023 Winter Term

Date : January 9th thru March 17th (10 weeks)

Class Times : Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:30-4:30pm. 

Cost : 3 x $125+GST for 10 weeks

2023 Spring Term

Date : Aprll 3rd thru June 23rd (12 weeks)

Class Times : Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:30-4:30pm. 

Cost : 3 x $145+GST for 12 weeks

2023 Summer Term

Date : July 3rd thru August 25th (8 weeks)

Class Times : Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:30-4:30pm. 

Cost : 2 x $150+GST for 8 weeks

PLAY [FALCONS] (8-12 YRS)

We believe that health and fitness should be fun and effective. So we developed PLAY, our program for young athletes to build a solid fitness foundation.

 

This program promotes proper movement patterns, agility, coordination, strength and athletic skill. We utilize free weights, gymnastic and conditioning equipment in our classes to provide fun and effective means for exercise. 

 

Enroll your 8-12 year old and watch them develop a passion for movement.

2023 PLAY Program Season will follow the school season: January 3rd to March 16th [2 week Spring Break] April 4 to June 22nd [1 week break], Summer Program (details to come).

Winter Term: January 3rd to March 16th (11 weeks)

Days: Tuesday's/Thursday's

Time: 3:20pm - 4:05pm

Term Cost: $300 + GST (3 installments of $100+GST, billed per month)

How to register: Send Coach Taynara an email to register your child(ren).

How to pay: We will set up a form of payment (either Credit Card or EFT) through our system, if we don't already have one. If you'd rather pay in-person or via E-Transfer, this is an option as well. Payments are due on the 1st of each month.

MASTERS [GOLDEN EAGLES] (60+ YRS)

We work with people that live in the Vernon BC area, and are looking to take back their life and get healthy but don't know where to start.  People who struggle with staying motivated and are looking for support and guidance.  People who want to learn to move safely and not hurt themselves while working on strengthening their muscles, increasing flexibility and continuing to maintain their independence.   


In this program, you will…

*Learn, restore and get proficient in functional movement patterns

*Increase strength, build endurance, regain balance, increase bone density and improve flexibility.

*Experience a fun, safe and inclusive community to help build confidence and get you fit for life.

*Movement specific warm-up,  strength focus, cardio workout and cool down.


Classes run Tuesday / Friday from 10:45am-11:45am.

Our coach will provide appropriate movement customizations for all individuals. We coach a basic movement first before introducing a more advanced movement. Our priority is to make sure you are safe, comfortable and become proficient in your technique of movements before introducing new dynamic ones.  Our coach works with and around injuries to help you get out of pain. 

And above all HAVE FUN doing it.
